A White Buffalo is an American Bison with white fur, in contrast to the usual brown color of a Bison. White Buffalos are born white for any of four reasons. Some are albino, others are leucistic, a few have a rare genetic trait that allows their fur to stay white a few years after birth, and some have the white Charolais Cattle in their ancestry.
